100 years BayWa

BayWa AG celebrated its 100th anniversary with a grand gala at the Isarphilharmonie concert hall in Munich. Around 1,000 guests were invited to this anniversary, including prominent representatives from politics, business, sport, culture, science and society, as well as partners and associations. fournell showtechnik GmbH was commissioned with the technical realization of the two-hour ceremony. Three high-resolution LED walls were used in the ballroom, one of them in a concave arrangement. As a technical highlight, a large steel construction with over 180 TitanTubes was installed as a visual 100 above the stage. The associated Hall-E was also immersed in an appropriately festive atmosphere by fournell showtechnik, as was an outdoor projection onto the Isarphilharmonie.

G7 Agriculture Ministers’ Conference

The 2-day G7 Agriculture Ministers’ Conference of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture was successfully implemented in partnership with the ifbbw Institute for Moving Image Sciences in Berlin. Each of the 11 participants was provided with a microphone unit and a preview monitor. Due to the participation of various nations, the conference was translated into five languages and also transmitted to another room.
We also provided technical support for various press conferences in the outdoor area and in a separate location on the grounds.
Our on-site expertise also included streaming the press conference, the welcoming speech and the live talk for media representatives who were not present.

Continental IAA Summit

The IAA 2021 took place not only for the first time in Munich – but also with a completely new event concept.
The concept – IAA Summit – was implemented at the Munich exhibition grounds. We were responsible for the technical
realization the exhibition stand of our customer Continental. A central LED wall, the truss construction and associated audio technology as well as the lighting of various exhibits and areas were also installed by the fournell showtechnik team.
The entire media technology in the exhibition area and in the meeting rooms was also part of our services.

The North Face LED wall

More than a jacket – more than a LED!
The new functional collection from The North Face was presented for two weeks on 15m² of our high-quality and color-intensive ROE Diamond LED wall. Thanks to a pixel pitch of 2.6mm, the customer’s own content is also effective from close up.

AUDI IAA Open Space

With the “Open Space”, the IAA not only took place in Munich for the first time, but also with a completely new event concept. AUDI presented itself in the city center with an exhibition stand, which we equipped with several large LED walls. A special feature of the stand design was the almost invisible integration of all lighting and sound elements in the suspended and tensioned ceiling. Our team also mastered this technical challenge, working hand in hand with the light and sound designers. Daily live presentations were also supported with our technology and the corresponding expertise.

Porsche Cayenne driving event Gotland

In beautiful Gotland and in compliance with the applicable hygiene regulations, we were able to hold the press presentation of the new Porsche Cayenne. Balanced illumination of the location and the presentation area, which was equipped with an 86″ screen, ensured that the presentation ran smoothly. Thanks to a short conversion phase, the presentation area could be converted into a fully-fledged streaming studio and synergies could be utilized for our customer. Our services also included discreet buffet lighting using track spotlights, a sound system for the stage roof above the entrance area of the location and a high-performance internet connection.

AUDI e-tron GT Media Workshop Zenith

The reveal trailer for the new AUDI e-tron GT was produced in Munich’s Zenith hall as part of its world premiere. A driving course was built from various lighting elements, including a more than spectacular light tunnel. Our task included the detailed technical planning of the required equipment and the installation and set-up of the entire event technology.
Innovative technology and a perfectly coordinated show set the perfect scene for the vehicles. Well Done.

AUDI e-tron GT PFV Rhodes

On the beautiful Greek island of Rhodes, more precisely on the airfield of Maritsa Airport, a special kind of lighting production was created. Using various lighting elements and spotlights, an extraordinary driving course was created for the new AUDI RS e-tron GT. The test drivers were spurred on to top performances on the track by means of a timing system.

Hyperbowl

As a technical partner of Hyperbowl, we worked closely with the companies TFN GmbH & Co KG, NSYNK GmbH and ACHT Frankfurt GmbH to create a spectacular virtual production studio in Hall C5 of the Munich Trade Fair Center. A symbiosis of the latest LED technology and the latest real-time camera technology has created an environment that accompanies a new era of studio productions. An almost infinite number of film, photo and event formats can be realized in this huge LED environment. From one location to another with just the flick of a finger. Goldbeck location opening Leipzig

On the occasion of the company’s 50th anniversary and the opening of the Leipzig site, we were able to equip the new reception hall with event technology for the celebrations. In addition to the implementation, we were also responsible for the technical planning and conception of the event. With over 100 moving lights on flown trusses, a 16 sqm LED wall, plus camera and sound technology, we were able to transform the new hall into a festive location where employees and guests were able to toast the opening until the early hours of the morning.

Milan Design Week Hyundai

As part of the Design Week in Milan, we were able to technically implement a very special exhibition for the car manufacturer Hyundai in cooperation with FILMTEC Media GmbH. The projection on the model of a concept car was reflected in the broken mirrored ceiling, creating a unique effect for the viewer. Visitors were guided through a very special world full of interactive elements from light and media technology installations.

Porsche Panamera world premiere Berlin

We were able to technically realize the world premiere for the new Porsche Panamera with a special show. The depth of the very long stage was created by five staggered, kinetic projection levels. We implemented these projections, which were moved by dancers, using very bright 4K projectors. The long catwalk was also staged with a very large number of moving lights.

Porsche Turbo driving event South Africa

The world press was invited to South Africa for the new Porsche Turbo. We transformed the pit lanes of the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit into a mixture of show stage and high-quality hospitality area. Among other things, track systems were installed on the building ceiling and fitted with the appropriate lights depending on the area and requirements. Various loudspeakers were also discreetly integrated into the overall picture.

Kitchen SupperClub

The caterer Tafelgold invited a select group of guests to a supper club at its location Filmkantinein Grünwald. At this upscale evening event, guests were able to enjoy culinary delights from the open kitchen and indulge in incredible culinary delights. Our team set the entire location in festive lighting and gave the party area a technical highlight with a special gallery for the DJ.

outDoor by ISPO The North Face

As part of outDoor by ISPO, we provided technical support and implemented the trade fair stand for the brand – The North Face. Due to the stand cladding in a box look, we had the challenge of assembling a self-supporting truss construction of almost 30 meters. Thanks to an ingenious system developed by our specialists, we were able to implement this to everyone’s satisfaction. An LED wall was integrated into the stand cladding, which could display three individual images on each side or be used as a whole. In total, we used 125m³ and 27 tons of material.

BMW International Open

fournell was able to take over the installation on the grounds of the Eichenried Golf Club as a technical service provider. Among other things, we equipped the VIP tents with lighting, sound and video technology, were responsible for the implementation of the “Event Arena”, a stage for moderation and live acts, staged several vehicles and built an 18×3.5m outdoor LED wall to display the ranking list and for the award ceremony. Our team mastered the various challenges on the large site, such as logistics, coordination with the tent construction or setting up the technology used in a rain-and weatherproof manner for a multi-day open-air event, with flying colors.

AUDI etron Abu Dhabi

At the Desert Learning Center in Al Ain, we provided technical support and set up a press conference situation in a zoo. We installed an infrastructure with charging stations at various locations, including on the highest mountain in Abu Dhabi – the Jabal Hafit. For the Groupflow, several monitors were set up in the Etihad Towers and a high-quality technical garage for the mechanics, including a light tunnel for preparing the vehicles, which was definitely one of the highlights on site. More than 10 tons of material were flown to Abu Dhabi by air freight, which arrived on time and complete despite difficulties at the airport. Every challenge was mastered on site and our customers were very satisfied.

Night of Light 2020

In June 2020, a cross-industry and cross-national initiative “Night of Light” was launched, which drew attention to the large number of companies and people affected by the measures of the COVID-19 pandemic. In cooperation with the aforementioned companies, we made our contribution to this initiative and shrouded affected event locations and our own site in deep red.

100 years IWIS Munich

The host invited guests to the Zenith culture hall in Munich for IWIS’s big company anniversary. The numerous guests of the Munich-based chain manufacturer enjoyed an evening full of entertainment and good food. Our team provided comprehensive support for the festivities using lighting, sound and visual equipment. The show was a complete success and is certainly still a fond memory for some visitors today.
